- When we compare the lengths or
heights, we place the objects side by side to see which one is longer or
longer.
- Ruler and measuring tape are
standard tools used to measure the length or height.
- We can measuring the length
using non-standard tools.

are many ways to measure the length or height using non-standard tools.

- Some objects are long, some are
short.
- Some objects are tall, some are
short.
- We compare the lengths of
objects to find out which is longer or shorter.
- We compare the heights of
objects to find out which is taller or shorter.
- We use non-standard tools like
straws and strings to measure the lengths or heights of objects.
